Guru Pournami at the Isha Yoga Center

The auspicious occasion of Guru Pournami will be celebrated at the Isha Yoga Center on July 14th. The day of Guru Pournami is traditionally the time when seekers offer the Guru their gratitude and receive his blessings.

Sadhguru will offer a special Darshan on this day between 6:20PM* to 6:40PM India time. You can make yourself receptive to the Presence and Grace by sitting in silence during this time wherever you may be. Gurupaduka stotram can be chanted before and after this twenty-minute interval. This tremendous opportunity is available, and can be shared, to everyone.

இன்று புதியதாய் பிறந்தேன்..

18th March 2008:

                             இன்றுதான் நான் சென்னை கோடம்பாக்கம் மீனாக்ஷி கல்லூரி யில் நடைபெற்ற சாம்பவி மகா முத்ரா  யோகா பயிற்சியில் சேர்ந்தேன். என் வாழ்வில் மறக்க முடியாத ஒரு மைல் கல் இது என்று சொல்லலாம்..

உன்னதமான இந்த பயிற்சியை முடித்து கடைசி நாள் அன்று இந்தக் கவிதையை (எனது கன்னி முயற்சி)  சமர்ப்பித்தேன் ...

இந்த ஏழு நாட்கள்.. 

எதை எதையோ தேடிய நான் இப்போதுதான்

    தொலைந்து போன என்னையே தேட ஆரம்பித்தேன்

'பொறுப்பின் எல்லையை  விரிக்க' அறிந்தேன் ..அன்று முதல், 

    பொழுதுகள் சுகமாயின, போராட்டங்கள் குறைந்தன.

'விதிமுறைகள் எனதுதான்' என உணர்ந்தேன்,

    வெறுப்புகள் என்னிடம் விடை பெற்றன.

இறந்த காலத்தில் புதைந்து கிடந்த என் மனம்,

    'இந்தக் க்ஷணம் தவிர்க்கமுடியாதது' என உணர்ந்தது.

காழ்ப்புணர்ச்சி நிறைந்த மனதில் விழிப்புணர்ச்சி மலர்ந்தது !

"குழந்தைக்கு தாயாவாயா " என்ற குருஜியின் குரலில் கரைந்தேன்...

     கண்களில் அருவியுடன் காற்றில் மிதந்தேன்..

வேடிக்கையுடன் விழிப்புணர்வை ஊட்டும் விவேகி,

விளையாட்டில் வினோத நங்கை என்ற 

    'வினோதினி'  ஆசிரியையின்  பல பரிமாணங்களில்  வியந்தேன் !

தன்னார்வலர்களின் தலை சிறந்த தொண்டு - சொல்லவே வார்த்தை இல்லை.

   சாப்பிட்ட என் இலையை எடுக்க கூட எனக்கு வாய்ப்பில்லை !

இன்று யோகா வகுப்பின் நிறைவு ஏழாவது நாள் -

   ஆமாம் 

நான் புதிதாய் பிறந்து ஏழு நாட்கள்தான் ஆகிறது !

Sri Sathya Sai Baba passes away...............

The spiritual leader and a greatest service provider to mankind Sri Sathya Sai Baba is no more from today, in physical form. But his  ideals, teachings and service initiatives will continue and the world will remember him for ever for his best services to humanity and profound love to mankind. I am displaying my drawing on Baba as a tribute to Him.
